I love to travel. It took a long time for me to get out there but now I can’t imagine staying still in one place. There’s too much work to be done, and it’s the kind of work that I never before thought someone like me could ever do!

So no matter where you’re starting from, my only advice is to simply “do”. Go forth and surprise yourself. Every drop of sweat and the anguish you may feel at times are just par for the course, especially when what you’re doing moves your soul and can help change the lives of others.

Kabul beauty school

The beauty school in Kabul gave Afghan women a chance to learn new skills to support their families. It was a lot of work, but there were many good times shared by all.
